San Fransisco Love…coming soon

Santa Barbara Lifestyle

Mar 16

These two lovebirds met in Sarah’s home-town of Minnesota.  Chris’s work brought them to sunny and beautiful Santa Barbara.  They wanted to do an engagement shoot that portrayed their new [and temporary] Santa Barbara lifestyle.  It was Sarah’s idea of shooting with the tandem bike and I picked the spot.  I love this location because the use of the palm trees says CALIFORNIA.  The palm tree is iconic symbol of the west coast and evokes feelings of happiness or maybe even feelings of jealousy.  We southern Californians are spoiled with perfect weather year round.  Chris being from the east coast and Sarah from the midwest we really showed off the fun Cali lifestyle in this shoot.

Santa Margarita Ranch Wedding Bliss in San Luis Obispo

Dec 6

Wow! Frankly this location is overwhelming.  I wanted to photograph every thing!  Breathtaking scenery, vintage museum quality trains, old western architecture…not to mention…stellar bride and groom.  The juxtaposition of the colors were just to die for too!  Lori made bride of the year with her very interesting and stunning necklace.  I was utterly mesmerized by her beauty. Noah looked so handsome in his suit…he looked like he stepped out of a historical movie.  I really liked how the groomsmen and bridesmaid chose their own inspired gray and red color clothing ensemble. Everything about this wedding was unique and special.  Check back for more vendor credits, until then…check out the slideshow.  The slideshow song is super cute! I am in love with these photos! This theme is phenomenal, I couldn’t imagine thinking of this theme on my own! Thank god for wedding planners. The bride is beyond words gorgeous and your photography really did this wedding justice. It is all about the photos at the end of the day, it is what holds all the memories. I really want to get married in Santa Barbara. I’m planning to go there soon and have a little getaway weekend in Goleta to visit some old UCSB friends. Planning on staying at the South Coast Inn (www.goleta-hotel.com). Close to UCSB and an ideal place to stay!

La Cumbre Country Club Wedding in Santa Barbara’s Hope Ranch

Nov 8

Jennifer and Micheal had such a beautiful and simple wedding in Hope Ranch, Santa Barbara.  There first dance song was a very romantic melody by Train called Marry Me.  Their colors they chose were yellow and navy blue.  Jennifer’s necklace was truly unique and complimented her dress wonderfully.  Check out the amazing highlight video from Whitestone Films.  Just enter murphy for the passcode.

That is one gorgeous couple! Looks like one classy wedding! The La Cumbre Country Club in Santa Barbara is very nice so it must have been some event, by the looks of it, it was! The bride had a gorgeous dress and the groom just looks happy! Love weddings in Santa Barbara, they are always so well put together and elegant. I was just in my nephew’s wedding and it was so nice and just a joyous day in Santa Barbara. Stayed at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). Affordable and in just the right location.

La Cumbre Country Club is a long time favorite from my childhood when I lived in the area. I’ve seen so many people get married here on those perfect Sundays in the summer and spring time. Great place and this bride looks very happy! That’s what weddings are all about! I cannot wait for my own wedding in Santa Barbara-not at the club but right on the beach. Bound to be a glorious day ! I’m setting everyone up at the South Coast Inn (www. goleta-hotel.com). Close by to our location and very nice-they’re all bound to love it!
